It is hard to tell the future. The idea that teachers will be replaced by robots is based on the rapid development of technologies and how much contribution of CALL. It is good to have robots assist us with basic or even difficult tasks, however, teaching a language requires critical thinking, which a robot cannot be programmed. A teacher know how to listen to learners' queries, evaluate their task performance, and importantly, motivate them to learn. On the other hand, teachers need to enhance their courses/lessons by engagement through technology and make sure that your students feel comfortable when being exposed to technological-based teaching approach with your assistance. By that way, I believe that teachers are still preferred in the classroom. Don't fear robots, in stead, make friends with them.
