Students assume the role of an Accountant in a fictional business where they can directly experience the accounting job in a business. Students will be received the accounting practice sets and all of the necessary information for implementing accounting work. Instruction places emphasis on providing students with real-world opportunities for experience and practicing accounting skills.
Students will be required to have a solid understanding of accounting theory and procedures in order to successfully complete all of the modules of this subject. The subject is established with 8 modules including Cash, Inventory, AP& AR, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Tax, Purchase & Sales, preparation of financial statements. At the end of this accounting simulation project, students will be able to complete the entire accounting cycle for a merchandising business.
